I opened my book to the very first page,
laid my pencil down and wrote away.
These are the things that I found -
these are the things that I came up with:

every day the same mistakes.

I read the lyrics, I sang the songs
and Oh My God I've never been so wrong!
Went away for a while and now I'm back
I just never thought it would mean all THAT.

silent wonder filled my head.
"Aha!", I said, over and over again.
Things become clear
when You draw near.

When you give up who you are
and find out who you were meant to be,
see the beauty
when we see God for who He is
as opposed to who we want Him to be!
